You may have noticed that the front page of the blog has a different look.<\/p>\n
I have been having difficulties with my web space provider reporting excessive CPU usage for the blog.<\/p>\n
I have discovered that WordPress apparently has some inherent issues\/glitches that cause problems like this and I am scrambling to optimize the blog (the parts visible to you, the reader, and the parts only visible to me, the admin).<\/p>\n
As a result, there will be fewer posts visible on the front page (not really an issue since all you need to do \u00a0to see more is click on the “older posts”<\/strong> link at the bottom of the page).<\/p>\n I have also removed an unnecessary graphics from the front page, including some of the icons in the links column. The text links themselves remain, but if you’re used to clicking on the graphics there may be a period of adjustment for you.<\/p>\n Other than than, the Funky16Corners<\/strong> experience should be seamless, for now.<\/p>\n This is an ongoing process, and my limitations working with code may force me to make radical readjustments sometime in the future.<\/p>\n I will try to keep you apprised of the changes in advance.<\/p>\n If anyone has any expertise with this specific problem, please let me know.<\/p>\n Thanks<\/strong><\/p>\n Larry<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" You may have noticed that the front page of the blog has a different look.
