{"id":8421,"date":"2024-09-22T14:09:57","date_gmt":"2024-09-22T19:09:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/funky16corners.com\/?p=8421"},"modified":"2024-09-22T14:09:57","modified_gmt":"2024-09-22T19:09:57","slug":"funky16status","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/funky16corners.com\/?p=8421","title":{"rendered":"Funky16Status!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/funky16corners.com\/pictures\/f16_radio_banner.jpg\" alt=\"Example\" width=\"600\" height=\"254\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Greetings all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I recently heard from a listener (and blog fan) asking why the <strong>Funky16Corners Blog<\/strong> had not been updated in so long.<\/p>\n<p>While I did post about changed hereabouts way back when, I thought I should post a brief refresher.<\/p>\n<p>Going back seven years to the beginning of my show for<strong> WFMU&#8217;s Give the Drummer Radio, Testify!,<\/strong> that brought me to two weekly and one monthly radio shows, the planning for which &#8211; in addition to regular life responsibilities &#8211; made it all but impossible to continue posting here at the blog.<\/p>\n<p>I have always considered my radio work to be a direct extension of what I was doing here, even allowing me to go further in depth.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why you don&#8217;t see new posts here at the blog.<\/p>\n<p>On the positive side, all of the mix archives remain, as well as weekly archiving of the <strong>Funky16Corners Radio Show<\/strong>, so there&#8217;s plenty to listen to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keep the Faith<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Larry<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings all.
